STATE POLICE COMMAND CALLS ON JOURNALISTS TO GET ACCREDITED FOR TOMORROW’S FLAG-OFF

In a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Bayelsa State Police Command, Egnavoen Emokpae , journalists covering the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Flag-off rally tomorrow should get their accreditation from the state council chairman of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ), Mr. Tarinyo Akono at the NUJ Press Centre, Azikoro Road, Yenagoa.

The statement also adds that journalists who fail to get their accreditation will not gain access to the venue of the rally. The measure, according to the Police PRO is to avoid embarrassments from security agents and to maintain the existing cordial relationship between the media and the Police.
