ACTING GOVERNOR APPOINTS NEW TRADITIONAL RULER'S CHAIRMAN


The Acting Governor of Bayelsa State Nestor Ibinabo appoints King Godwin Igodo, the Ebenibe of Atissa in Yenagoa Local Area, as the new chairman of Bayelsa Traditional Rulers Council.

A statement issued by the Secretary to the Bayelsa Government, Prof. Millionaire Abowei, in Yenagoa on Sunday, directed the former chairman of the Council, King Joshua Igbagara, to handover all government property in his possession to the new chairman.

The statement wished Igbagara well in his future endeavours
The statement added that King George Lawson, the Obenabhan of Emeyal in Ogbia Local Government Area, is the new Vice Chairman of the council.
