STATE GOVERNMENT URGE THE PUBLIC TO DISREGARD RUMOURS

The State Government says it has not appointed a new Secretary to the State Government as been rumoured. Speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Public Affairs, Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson has therefore advised the public to disregard the rumour as it is not only false but misleading. He also urged the public to refrain from peddling unfounded rumors and also disregard any source of information not duly authorized by the state government.
The statement warned that henceforth, information concerning the government or its activities at any level must be confirmed from the office of the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs before it is made public.
