ACTING GOVERNOR URGED CHRISTIANS AND MOSLEMS TO LIVE IN UNITY AND LAW ABIDING.

The State Acting Governor, Chief Nestor Binabo has charged Moslem Faithful in the state during a special Eid-Maulud message to imbibe the virtues of peace, tolerance and humility exemplified by the Holy Prophet Mohammed. He also enjoined Moslems to be moderate, like Prophet Mohammed, by being exemplary in their deeds and be their brother’s keeper.
Chief Binabo also stated that at this stage of the nation’s history, all hands must be on deck to move the country forward, stressing however that the incidence of violence and insecurity pose a great challenge to the development aspirations of the country. He therefore urged both Christians and Moslems should see themselves as one and live together without a bickering and acrimony, as religion should only be used to promote unity rather than as an instrument of division.
While assuring Moslem Faithful in the state of their safety,Chief Binabo thanked  them for their support, and urged them to be law abiding.
Conclusively, the Acting Governor expressed his commitment to the development of the state,in spite of the short period he has to stay, in spite of the short period he has to stay. He wished Moslems joy, peace and Allah’s blessings.
