AG. GOV. NESTOR BINABO AT OPOROMA RALLY; CANVASSES SUPPORT FOR PDP.

Bayelsa State, Acting Governor, Chief Nestor Binabo has urged Bayelsans to turn out massively and vote the Dickson/Jonah ticket at this weekend’s Gubernatorial polls in the state.
Chief Binabo stated this at the PDP campaign rally at Oporoma, headquarters of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area.
He observed that the state is a stronghold of PDP and the party has been ruling since the inception of the civilian administration in the state.
Chief Binabo urged supporters of the party to conduct themselves peacefully when they go out to cast their votes.
Former Governor of the state, Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, also called for support for the party, noting that Bayelsa is the home state of the President and leader of the party and, they should not disappoint him.
The state PDP Chairman, Deacon James Dugo expressed optimism that the party will win in the election in view of the wonderful support it enjoys.
The PDP caucus Chairman for Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, and former Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in the state, Mr. Talford Ongolo expressed confidence in Mr. Dickson’s ability to transform the area and take the state to greater heights.
Addressing PDP supporters, the flag bearer, Mr. Seriake Dickson said when elected, his administration would provide social amenities for the area and work towards ensuring peace and security.
Mr. Dickson said all the people needed to do was to come out and vote for the PDP in this weekend’s governorship election and thanked them for their support.
The Acting Governor, and the PDP flagbear, Mr. Seriake Dickson had earlier paid a visit to the paramount ruler of Oporoma, Chief D. E. Abule.
