VIGILANTE GROUP

The Bayelsa State Commander of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria otherwise known as Community Police, Mr. Godsblessing Tolumobofa has said that the existence of the group in the state will go a long way to promote the already existing security system in the state as the body is out to assist the Nigerian Police Force and other relevant security agents to curb Crime in the state.
Mr. Tolumobofa stated this during the commencement of the training exercise that took place in the state. He said members of the group should be disciplined and of good behaviour. Following the shifting of the earlier date for resumption of the training programme to next week Wednesday, members are advised to come with letters of recommendation from their traditional rulers. Intending members are also advised to come to the administration’s office at Onopa by the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development with recommendation letters from their traditional rulers
