The special committee on payment of students’ bursary has released the final verification exercise for two thousand eight/two thousand and nine and two thousand / two thousand and ten Bursary for students of the Bayelsa state origin.
The secretary of the committee Dr. Princewill Igbagara says all bonafide students who are entitled to receive the bursary but have not are required to undergo verification exercise. The exercise is for both undergraduate and post graduate students and will take place at the state Scholarship Board Yenegoa between nine ‘0’ clock in the morning and four in the evening. Affected students were advised to come along with originals and photocopies of all essential documents for the exercise.
Further details of the schedule indicated that on Monday next week is for students of the Niger Delta University, while undergraduates of higher institutions in the South-South will take their turn on Tuesday.
According to Dr. Igbagara on Wednesday and Thursday will be for undergraduates outside the South-South region while Friday will be for all post graduate students.
