MRS SYLVA URGES BAYELSANS TO PRAY FOR NIGERIA

At the monthly prayer and fasting meeting which was held at the Government House, Yenagoa. The wife of the Bayelsa State Governor Mrs. Alayingi Sylva, appealed to the women in Bayelsa State to continually lift Nigeria in prayers for divine intervention.

She further stated that as the state and the nation is going through what we may consider as challenging, Bayelsans should remain steadfast in God and should also thank God for seeing the state and the country through last year to this New year.

Still at the monthly fasting and prayer meetings, Mrs. Bio Opusunju offered an intercessory prayer for a peaceful and violence free election in Bayelsa State. Special prayers were offered to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for wisdom and strength and for God’s divine protection towards Christians living in the Northern part of Nigeria.
