ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY CELEBRATION

Activities for this year’s Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration have been released by the Bayelsa state government. According to a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Alabo Gideon Ekeuwei, the programme will commence this Friday with the launching of the Emblem Appeal week for the sale of Emblems at the Gloryland cultural centre by ten ‘o’ clock in the morning.
This will be followed by an interdenominational church service at King of Glory Chapel, Government House on Sunday while the Juma’at service holds at the Central Mosque on Friday the thirteenth of this month. Activities will then be rounded off on Sunday the fifteenth with the wreath laying ceremony at Peace Park by ten ‘o’ clock in the morning. The statement enjoins the public to attend the various programmes.
