MEDICAL AND HEALTH WORKERS UNION OF NIGERIA EXPRESSES GRATITUDE

The Bayelsa State Council of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria has expressed gratitude to the state governor, Chief Timipre Sylva for the implementation of the salary structure, CONHESS to Primary Health Care members in the Eight Local Government Areas. They also commended the administration for supporting management of the council with a monthly sum of Ninety-two point nine million naira (92,900,000) for sustaining the implementation of other fundamental issues.
The Chairman of the union in the state, Comrade Bio Josiah and the Secretary, Comrade Letam Nwibani extended their appreciation to the Deputy Governor, Chief Werinipre Seibarugu, the Executive arm of government and the Legislature for their individual and collective efforts in actualizing the release of the Ninety-two point nine million naira monthly assistance.
The Union expressed joy with the chairman of the state’s chapter of the National Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Ebiowou Koku-Ogbiya, Comrade Lucky Gospel Ewa, National Vice President National Union of Local Government Employment (NULGE) South/South and the State President of NULGE, Comrade Nathaniel Kaka for effective coordination of the implementation of CONHESS for Primary Health Care workers and the Eighteen thousand naira for other council staffers.
