As the wife of the Governor of Bayelsa State clocked forty two, women groups, youth bodies and organizations have felicitated with her. One of such groups is the “The Facebook Friends of Governor Sylva”.
In their message, they said her benevolent spirit and giant strides in the health of women and children in the state has ensured the well being of most Bayelsans through her NGO, Center for Gender Values and culture.
A statement on behalf of the Group by Mr. Frank Ebikefe, co-ordinator of the “Facebook Friends to Governor Sylva” listed some achievements of the first lady of Bayelsa State Mrs. Alayingi Sylva which includes, The Skill acquisition center at Igbogene, Provision of equipments to the disabled community, aids to the motherless babies home Opolo and Partnership with Xenon to provide mini-laptops.
They prayed God to continuously answer her supplication and give her more years.
