Speaking at the concert by the State Choir, in Government House, Yenagoa. Governor Timipre Sylva said that there is no cause for alarm over the current political development in the state as he hoped to triumph victoriously at the end of the day.
The State Chief Executive commended members of the choir for their performance therefore, promised to support the choir at all times to attain greater heights.
Governor Sylva stated his interest to support the choir by developing the Nigerian Music Project with the sole use of indigenous musical instruments. In a brief devotion, Rev. Canon J.M.K Torunanagha urged all to put their trust in God in total communion with Him as he prayed for peace in the state and country at large.
Dignitaries at the special concert included, wife of the Governor Mrs. Alayingi Sylva, Deputy Governor Chief Werinipre Seibarugu and his wife, Iyorozitei, Speaker, Mr. Nestor Binabo and Deputy Speaker, Mr. Fini Angaye, Secretary to the State Government, Alabo Gideon Ekeuwei, members of the assembly and Executive Council and other top government officials.
