The Director General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, Dr. Paul Orhii will embark on a three-day work visit to Bayelsa State.
On his visit, Dr. Orhii will on this Friday 14th October, 2011 educate stakeholders and the public on new strategies to combat counterfeit products in the country.
NAFDAC in partnership with Tulsi Chanrai Foundation from India will carry out a free eye screening exercise slated for 15th (Saturday) to 16th (Sunday) October, 2011 at the Dietei Koki Memorial Hospital Opolo, starting from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
It says the State Governor Chief Timipre Sylva is expected to officially flag-off the programme as the special guest of honour.
