FIRST LADY OF BAYELSA STATE CHARGES CORP MEMBERS TO SUSTAIN GOVERNMENT’S HIV/AIDS AWARENESS CAMPAIGN IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS


While receiving Corp members from Akwa Ibom state serving in Bayelsa state, the wife of the Governor of Bayelsa state, Mrs. Alayingi Sylva charged Corp members who are posted to secondary schools to sustain the Bayelsa state Stay Alive Initiative (BASAI) and Anti HIV/AIDS Clubs in the schools which was established to increase advocacy on the prevention of HIV/AIDS among youths.
Mrs. Sylva assured the Corp members of her support and encouraged them to identify with their kinsmen. The Leader of the group, Miss Victoria Ubah stated that the Corp members are ready to render selfless service to the state and the nation. She added that arrangement is being made to teach women detergent making in order to generate income.
