BAYELSANS CONNECT LAUDS GOV. SYLVA ON DEVELOPMENT

A non-Governmental Group that emerged from the social networking site, Facebook known as Bayelsans Connect lauded Gov. Timipre Sylva on his development strides in the state since assumption of office.
    The group made the call when they visited some of the project sites currently going on in the state capital with other youths of the state.
The project sites visited includes:
1. The state library, at 80% stage of completion.
2. New House of Assembly quarters which is fully completed and awaiting commissioning.
3. Diete- Koki memorial hospital which is regarded as one of the best in Africa is fully functioning with the state of the art modern medical facilities.
4. Medford Okilo memorial hospital which is also at its completion stage is also regarded as the biggest hospital in southern Nigeria.
5. B.D.G.S model school which is the pilot scheme for the three senatorial secondary schools in the state.
Other projects not visited by the group includes the new commissioners quarters, skills acquisition centres which is ongoing and the plastic industry which is in operation for the production of pipes and other plastic materials with a work force of about 200 Bayelsa youths who are fully employed.
          The Youths after the project tour in their remark praised the Governor for his vision towards making Bayelsa the place of their dream. Some of the youths who expressed their satisfaction on some of the projects, advised the Governor not to relent or be distracted by critics, but to carry on with his goods works towards making BAYELSA THE GLORY OF ALL
