ACTING GOVERNOR’S WIFE URGES WOMEN TO PRAY

The wife of the acting governor of Bayelsa State, Mrs. Martha Binabo has urged women to pray continually for the peace of the state. She made the plea during her maiden meeting with female political appointees, wives of both elected and political appointees and others at the Conference Hall of Government House, Yenagoa.

Mrs. Binabo encouraged the women to be united and pray for the success of next month’s governorship election. She also assured the women that though her period is short, she will however operate an open door policy.

The Commissioner for Gender, Chief Ginbra Pamowei thanked the wife of the Acting Governor for the meeting on her assumption of office and prayed God to bless her. Chief Pamowei said her invitation has given the women a sense of purpose and oneness.
